As an active person & PT, I’ve always held M&S’s sportswear in high regard & recommended it to my clients, but sadly these shorts completely missed the mark, they were poor material quality & the sizing was completely off – nothing like the trusted quality and fit I’ve come to trust from M&S. VERY disappointing and needless to say they were swiftly returned for a refund!

Look lovely on. Tried to play pickle ball in them and the under short ride up immediately. So annoying as then they are too short and get chaffing. Waste of money. Inner shorts not long enough to stay put to exercise enough. Disappointed as a waste of money.

Good shorts for running. Not too short or skimpy for the middle aged runner. I can’t run with my phone in the pocket though bc they feel like they’re falling down. Legs ride up a bit when running. Overall comfy and good value.

Inners ride up unfortunately think they need to be tighter otherwise lovely shorts

They aren’t a very good fit, the pockets are good but the front is very baggy

Absolutely love these – perfect gym shorts. I ordered (and returned) loads of top branded double layer shorts and none were a patch on these. They are excellent quality, wash well and really comfortable.

Fit great, size is spot on!! Don’t ride up much, would recommend

Great shorts and love the length. They are great for running as they prevent rubbing.

Sadly this was the only item I kept out of the whole package and that was only because the label became detached when I was trying them on. Having felt I could rely on M&S sizes for the best part of 50 years I’m sad to say that is no longer the case. Their size 10s are now closer to an 6/8 and even then it’s not consistent across all their ranges.
Sadly I don’t feel I can rely on their online service any more as you have to go to the store and try on to see if they fit first.
